Standard style beginner motorcycle for tall people?
I suggest taking a cl from the motorcycle safety foundation. It is a great cl that is low key and very informative to safe riding. most motorcycle accidents happen within the first six months of riding. At the motorcycle safety foundation cles, they will usually provide a bike for you to learn on. These bikes are usually less than 500cc and are good trainers. It is true that you can ride your bike, but usually the course at the DMV is patterned after the motorcycle safety foundation test track, and is not always well suited for a larger bike. Personally as to selection of a motorcycle, I ride a 1983 Honda 550SC nighthawk and love it. it is not a sportbike and not a cruiser. there are many bikes like these and are generally inexpensive starter bikes. most of the bikes of this style are considered metric bikes which means that they are manufactured (usually) in Japan or Europe. By the way if you like buell, buell blasts are good easy fun bikes. as to what you will ultimately be happy with, I really would suggest trying it out somehow. Personally 1100cc is probably a bit to much for me at this time.
