Are English/British musicians such as Lilly Allen popular in the United States?

For example artists like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson etc... are all American artists but are very well known in UK as well! I was just wondering if our artists such as Alesha Dixon, Leona Lewis, Sugar Babes and girls aloud etc are well known in the USA as well or just England?? xxxx
