Should i bring my friend a balloon for birthday?

One of my good friends birthday is coming up friday. Shes gonna be 13 and were in 7th grade. Do you think i should bring her one of those hellium shinny silver balloons, just to be nice? Shes not having a party or anything tho so thats why i thought of balloon. I would bring it to her friday morning and she would put it in the closet during the day of homeroom.
