Prepare yourself for the SAT w/o the expensive cles?

I'm detirmined to get an extremely good score on the SAT and PSAT. But unlike a lot of other kids at my school I can't afford the pricy courses. Could someone tell me how I can prepare? A study schedule of types, a method, or what you've learned from past experiences?
